Shraddha Kapoor’s Father Shakti Kapoor Roped In To Play NCB Drugs Control Officer In A Film Inspired By Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death Case
Shakti Kapoor to play the NCB officer in Nyaay: The Justice, a film inspired by Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case
Films based on real life controversial topics are like hot selling cakes at the box office, with audiences flocking into the theatres. One such topic which has been most talked about in the country is actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely death, followed by newly emerged drug angle in his case being investigated by the Narcotics Control Bureau has become an inspiration for a film backed by Sarla A. Saraogi. Titled Nyaay: The Justice will see senior actor Shakti Kapoor in a pivotal role.
As per reports in news agency, IANS the actor will be seen as a narcotics officer in the film, confirmed film’s lead actor Zuber K. Khan. Shakti Kapoor’s daughter-actress Shraddha Kapoor was also grilled when her name emerged in a drug case as part of NCB probe. Besides her father, the movie will star actor Aman Verma in the role of an ED officer, Sudha Chandran portraying the role of a CBI officer. Also joining the cast and to be seen in a pivotal role is actress Shreya Shukla.
While Zuber’s onscreen role will be playing the lead, yet another most talked about celebrity in the ongoing investigation is actress Rhea Chakraborty, who is the late actor’s alleged girlfriend. Her role will be essayed by actress Shreya Shukla in the movie.
While the casting for the film is locked, the shoot for the same is yet to begin.

The actor also informed makers have roped in actors portraying characters inspired by Bollywood actresses such as Sara Ali Khan, Ankita Lokhande and Kriti Sanon who had crossed paths with the late actor in some point of their lives. Also Sarla A. Saraogi who is backing the film is the wife of Ashok M. Saraogi who is handling SSR’s manager Shruti Modi's legal aspect in the ongoing CBI and NCB investigation.
